Makeup After A Workout

So you like to work out before work?  Or maybe you have somewhere to be after the gym and you need a quick way to do your makeup after a workout.  Don’t worry girl, I gotchu!

Listen, you don’t have to spend an hour at the gym doing your makeup.  This is a quick and simple look that’s appropriate for work or meeting up with friends afterwards.

Base

We’re going to start off with your base.  You’ll want to apply a face primer first, that way your foundation will glide on smoothly and last the rest of the day.

For foundation, I recommend a mineral powder foundation because they’re super quick and easy to apply and are less irritating then other types of foundations.

Bronzer

To quickly add some dimension to the face, sweep some bronzer on at your temples, under your cheekbones, and on your jawline.

Blush

You’re going to add a little color to your face with some blush.  For quick blush application, opt for a powder blush that is easily blendable.

Eyes

You’re going to keep the eyes simple.  Use a crease brush to apply bronzer to your eyelid crease.  I find this is a quick way to add some dimension to the eyelid.

Next, add some of your favorite mascara (I LOVE this one) to your lashes and line your upper waterline with a waterproof eye pencil.  This will help your eyelashes look thicker.

Eyebrows

For your brows, keep it simple.  Fill them in using a brow powder and an angled brow brush.  I find I can get my eyebrows done quicker with brow powder.

Lips

Last, but not least, are the lips.  If you want to keep it quick and light, I recommend a tinted balm stain like this one.  Otherwise, just pop on your favorite lipstick and you’re good to go!
